Anne Arundel County Organizations
In Anne Arundel County, we distribute much needed food and other essential resources at no cost to our partner agencies who then distribute the items directly to people who need them most. We could not do what we do for residents most in need in Anne Arundel County without our partners. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts!
Reporting Reminder

Inclement Weather Policy
For Our Feeding America/Retail Rescue Partners:
The Anne Arundel County Food Bank follows the Anne Arundel County Public Schools policy in the event of bad weather. If the school openings are delayed, we will delay opening as well. If the schools are closed, we will be closed—if it is not safe for buses, it is not safe for our drivers.
In the event we are unable to pick up at your store due to the weather, we will resume pick ups on the next regularly scheduled pick up date.
For Our Member Agencies:
If the Anne Arundel County Food Bank’s opening is delayed due to weather, and your appointment is scheduled for first thing in the morning, please reschedule your appointment (i.e.: If Anne Arundel County Public Schools open 2 hours late, the Anne Arundel County Food Bank will then open at 10 am to give staff a chance to safely arrive at the food bank. All appointments scheduled from 9 am to 10 am will need to be rescheduled). Those appointments scheduled during open hours will be honored.
If the Anne Arundel County Public Schools are closed due to the weather, the Anne Arundel County Food Bank will be closed as well and you will need to reschedule your appointment. Staff and volunteers will not be in the office to assist you.
