Welcome New Board Members

We are excited to announce two new members to our Board of Directors: Scott Schuetter and Jim Vika. We are grateful to everyone who serves on our board for the time and expertise that they share with us and the passion they bring to increasing food security throughout Anne Arundel County. Our new board members will further strengthen the many connections we have established in the community, and we are looking forward to seeing the great work they will accomplish in service of our mission.

The Anne Arundel County Food Bank enthusiastically welcomes to the Board of Directors:

Scott Schuetter

Scott originally enlisted in the Navy prior to attending and graduating from the Naval Academy.  He was an aviator upon graduation and returned to the Naval Academy to teach leadership before deciding to pursue real estate.  He has been a local Realtor for the last 15 years and a strong community advocate.  He served as a 3-term president for the Annapolis TD Club and is extremely active in several other philanthropic endeavors.  His wife of 21 years, Dana, and his two kids, Cade and Alice, are also very community driven and they are all excited to be a part of the amazing work at the Anne Arundel County Food Bank!

Jim Vika
Jim Vika is a Commercial Relationship Manager at M&T Bank and focuses on middle-market clients throughout Maryland. Prior to joining M&T Bank, Jim was a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy serving on USS Spruance and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. He studied economics at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and received his MBA from the University of Maryland. He lives in Arnold with his wife Devon and their two children, Owen and Elise.
