Anne Arundel County Food Bank was founded in 1986 to distribute food to community partners throughout Anne Arundel County. To this day, AACFB continues its commitment to providing free food and other critical services to under-resourced residents, working alongside county and state governments to address food insecurity throughout the County. Food Bank Launches Mobile Pantry
On Monday, September 18, AACFB celebrated the launch of its Mobile Food Pantry with a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony. County Executive Steuart Pittman joined the food bank's CEO Leah Paley, M&T Bank Senior Vice President Moke Wolfe, and AACFB partners and stakeholders for the send-off.
Take Action This September
September is Hunger Action Month, a nationwide campaign to bring awareness to food insecurity across the nation. Throughout the month, the Anne Arundel County Food Bank calls on county residents to take action on the issue of hunger in our community.
Drivers Wanted
The Anne Arundel County Food Bank needs 1-2 volunteer drivers for Tuesday and/or Wednesday mornings from 8 am until approximately noon. Volunteer drivers will use our box truck to pick up donations at various locations in Anne Arundel County. Drivers do not have to have a CDL but must be able to pass a DOT physical and be able to lift 50-pound (or more) boxes.
