Food Pantries

With the generous support of our community, the Anne Arundel County Food Bank acquires food and basic necessities and distributes these items — free of charge — to our network of 76 partners at 115 distribution points across the county. Each month, our network of food, baby, and senior pantries support 48,000 individual visits.

Our core program is supplying our Network Partners across Anne Arundel County with fresh produce, lean proteins, shelf-stable foods, and basic necessities. The Anne Arundel County Food Bank distributes food and basic necessities at no cost to our partners, who then distribute these items directly to residents in need.

An estimated eight percent of Anne Arundel County residents (more than 47,000 people) face food insecurity — the lack of consistent access to enough healthy, nutritious food. Our Network Partners, typically affiliated with community, civic, and religious organizations, give their time and energy to help our neighbors facing food insecurity. In FY2023, our Network Partners provided 575,839 points of service, assisting 48,000 households each month.

The food bank greatly appreciates the hard work and dedication of our Network Partners operating food pantries across the county.
