An estimated 30 percent of county residents (individuals and families) are below the federal poverty level or are employed but are unable to meet basic needs: food, childcare, housing, healthcare, and transportation. Your donation helps us provide free and nutritious foods to those in need.
Each month, our network of food, baby, and senior pantries support 48,000 individual visits. With cuts to federal programs and the ongoing pressures of inflation, food insecurity is a persistent concern for too many in Anne Arundel County. Your generous donation will support our mission and help us provide food and basic necessities free-of-charge to our network of 76 partners operating food pantries, baby and senior pantries, and on-site feeding centers. Your donation also supports our programs providing weekend meals to qualifying students and delivering fresh produce, lean meats, and shelf-stable items via our Mobile Food Pantry.
By giving monthly, you can help us plan on a steady stream of support to feed our neighbors. This program allows you to easily help the Anne Arundel County Food Bank year-round with regular monthly donations from a credit card, debit card, checking account, or savings account. A small donation each month makes a BIG difference in our mission to alleviate food insecurity in our county.
Note: You can change or stop your donation at any time.
Legacy gifts are a testament to your faith in our work and your belief in our mission. Our planned giving program, the Cornucopia Society, honors our legacy donors and their commitment to alleviating food insecurity in Anne Arundel County today and in the future.
