.As a receptionist/administrative assistant Katie is responsible for welcoming visitors and assisting callers. She has worked as an administrative assistant for 2 years. In her free time she enjoys going on road trips, especially to the beach.

Our Network Partners see Trevor everyday as he focuses on ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pick-ups for food, baby, and senior pantries. He oversees our inventory system, making sure we know exactly what we have in the warehouse (and where it is). Trevor is a U.S. Army Reservist and has previously worked in the construction and warehouse industries.
Favorite vegetable: Asparagus
You will see Steve’s smiling face around Anne Arundel County as he picks up food donations collected from community food drives and our Retail Recovery partners. Steve also drives the Mobile Food Pantry, bringing fresh produce, lean meats, and other items to communities where access to healthy food is limited. As AACFB’s Logistics Manager, he is responsible for drivers, vehicle maintenance, and coordinating with our programs for special projects.
Favorite vegetable: Potatoes
Amanda has a frontline role working directly with volunteers sorting and boxing donations and helping with Mobile Food Pantry distributions. She also works with community groups to encourage greater participation in hosting food drives that help sustain our inventory. She has extensive experience in customer service and volunteer management and holds a M.S. in education from Old Dominion. Amanda enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.
Favorite vegetables: Onions, broccoli, and mushrooms
Tracy ensures the Mobile Food Pantry is loaded according to order, drives the vehicle to pre-assigned locations, and engages with community partners and neighbors during distributions. Tracy grew up on a dairy farm in upstate New York and sees working at the food bank as a complete circle from being involved with food production to now food distribution. He comes to AACFB after a longtime career in technology sales and leadership. In his free time, the Eastport resident enjoys days on the water in his powerboat.

If you’re messaging us on social media, you’re likely talking to Chris. He’s a long-time journalist and communicator whose award-winning stories have appeared in local and national publications. He likes to travel and play music in his free time and spends too much time playing video games. He has an undergraduate degree from St. John’s College in Annapolis and a masters in journalism from University of Maryland College Park.

A Dynamic Manager with over 30 years of experience leading organizational and operational change, Todd oversees AACFB’s inventory, warehouse, and logistics operations.
Favorite Vegetable: Chinese Cauliflower
Juls is our numbers guru who keeps our books up-to-date and pays our bills on time. She brings more than 35 years of bookkeeping experience to the AACFB team. When she’s not crunching numbers, she enjoys watching her beloved Orioles and Commanders and reading the occasional murder mystery.
Favorite vegetables: Broccoli, corn, squash, zucchini, green beans, and spinach
Marta manages the food bank’s human resources, including the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff; consulting with leadership on strategic planning; and serving as a link between the food bank's management and its employees. She also manages the administrative operations and administrative support staff to ensure that all administrative processes are efficient and effective, and that the organization runs smoothly.
Favorite vegetables: Broccoli, asparagus, and green beans
Karen is a self-proclaimed nerd who loves all things involving data, research, and analysis, which are great skills for managing the organization’s database. Outside of work she loves baseball (including coaching her sons), reading, and traveling. Karen has a bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, & History from the University of Pittsburgh, a master's degree in Communication from the University of Tennessee, and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

The Anne Arundel County Food Bank is fortunate to rely on Gary’s more than 20 years of experience in warehouse and manufacturing operations. He is most often in the food bank’s “middle room,” helping to sort the donations we receive from grocery stores and retail centers. Born and raised in Maryland, Gary enjoys sports and is a classic muscle car enthusiast.
Favorite vegetable: Lima beans
Michael plays an integral role in sorting and organizing donations from our Retail Recovery partners. This program is a significant source of donations, and AACFB works with several grocery stores and retail centers, including Giant Food, Wegmans, Walmart, and Target. The former tree surgeon enjoys working out in his free time.
Favorite vegetable: Asparagus
Ryan is on our warehouse team and is often out on our dock assisting Network Partners picking up orders for food pantries across the county. He also helps make sure our volunteers on the sorting line have plenty of donations to inspect and sort. Ryan hails from Anne Arundel County and enjoys guitar, 3D modeling, and model building in his free time.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Richard works on our warehouse team, putting together orders and assisting our Network Partners picking up food and basic necessities for distribution at food, baby, and senior pantries. The lifelong New York Giants fan also enjoys video games and working out.

Leah Paley leads the Anne Arundel County Food Bank, bringing experience from her previous role as executive director at a Laurel-based nonprofit. Since joining AACFB in September 2021, she has focused on addressing food insecurity within the community. Leah's background in service and social justice, combined with her education from Providence College and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, drives her commitment to making a positive impact.
Favorite vegetables: Kale, red peppers, brussels sprouts
Mike travels across the county picking up donations from community food drives and our Retail Recovery partners. A lifelong Anne Arundel County resident, he has more than 20 years of experience in driving and warehouse operations. In his free time, he enjoys watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Maryland Terps, unless he’s trying to shoot par on the back nine.
Favorite vegetable: Corn
Sarah leads fundraising and communications efforts at the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. With over 20 years in the county, she's deeply committed to the community. Sarah's extensive experience includes fundraising and communications roles, including four years as a major gifts officer at the Anne Arundel Community College Foundation. She holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MA from Boston College, both in American studies.
Favorite vegetable: Artichokes
Angie is responsible for everything to do with running our warehouse. She works closely with our warehouse team members to ensure food collected from donations and purchased from distributors is efficiently processed and distributed to our Network Partners.
Favorite vegetables: Corn, green beans, and cucumbers
Keiry assists with program data collection and reporting requirements as well as coordinating the AACFB Mobile Food Pantry, serving households around the county with fresh, healthy food distributed at locations convenient to our neighbors.
Favorite vegetable: Mushrooms
Angel assists with all our Network Partners operating food pantries, baby pantries, on-site feeding programs, senior pantries, and the Backpack Buddies program with Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She also coordinates our partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), which helps supplement the diets of food-insecure persons across the country.
